Sprinkled with a variety of flora, the Fire Course has been designed to exist in harmony with the surrounding landscape. The flora has been carefully selected to reflect the overall ‘Fire’ theme and to enhance the natural environment. Throughout the Fire Course, tees have been carefully placed to provide variety of length, direction and elevation, while the landscape's natural features and topography are employed to provide even more challenging play. Generous landing areas entice shots towards safety, but strong bunkering has been carefully placed to catch wayward strokes and force the player to concentrate fully on placement of the drive. The undulating greens, too, will stress ball placement - going directly at the flag may not always be the best approach - and will bring a strong element of traditional links-style play to the Fire Course.
